Mr. Woods Translations

My name is Gregory Woods. I was born and raised in the United States and English is my mother tongue. I discovered my passion for languages while participating in an international exchange program as a teenager, studying at the University of California and traveling widely. Since completing the equivalent of a master's degree in translation at the University of Heidelberg I've provided translations to a wide range of clients including companies, law offices, institutions, government entities and individuals.

Today I'm a naturalized German citizen based in Frankfurt am Main with nearly four decades of professional experience. My regular clients include notaries public, clinics, companies, the police and other authorities. Among other things, I provide:

• Certified (also incorrectly called "notarized") translations of personal documents such as birth certificates, diplomas, passports from German to English and English to German 

• Interpreting for notaries public, the police and private clients

• Translations of legal documents including contracts, wills and official texts

• Proofreading and editing of German and English texts
