Interpreting

I frequently work as an interpreter for the police in Frankfurt am Main and Offenbach, for notaries public and at clinics, hospitals and prisons in the Rhine/Main area and at Frankfurt Airport.

What’s involved is called “consecutive” interpreting: a speaker says one or two sentences, then pauses so I can translate it into the other language. I usually translate in both directions.

My fee is based on an hourly rate plus a flat charge for travel time to and from the interpreting venue.
